HELLO!
We are Chris, Jamie and Connor. We know this must be a difficult time for you, but we feel you are making a remarkable choice by considering open adoption.
We admire your strength and feel that by providing you with the essence of who we are, you will
realize the endless amount of love that we will have for another child. Three years ago we experienced the joy open adoption brings through the strength of Connor's birth parents and we cherish the thought of expanding our family.
A Little About Us
We met on a family water ski vacation 8 years ago, started dating and soon fell in love. We were married in Maui, Hawaii and have been enjoying a rewarding life filled with love, friendship, fun and laughter. We have a wonderful marriage founded on
trust and respect for one another. These qualities have helped us build a stronger family unit since the adoption of Connor.
We have a zest for life and enjoy many great adventures. We have a common love of travel (Connor has vacationed in many wonderful places in his three years) as well as entertaining family and friends at our home. Annual water ski trips to Lake
Havasu, Arizona is always fun and Connor loves to drive Daddy's boat. It has always been our opinion that the more people
around to help celebrate, the better.
Parenting
We truly enjoy parenting and have found a whole new world of love and laughter. Whether we are walking along the beach,
splashing in the tub or reading bedtime stories, the joy gained from these special moments is irreplaceable and has become
the most significant part of our lives.
We both believe that love, patience, trust and guidance are the main ingredients for a
healthy childhood. We look forward to instilling strong ethical values of honesty, compassion, love and understanding. We feel
it is important to have as much parental support as possible and feel fortunate that Jamie is able to be a stay-at-home mom.
Connor and Jamie enjoy spending their days at the park, lunch dates with friends local trips to the aquarium, art class or
Connor's favorite, the kiddy train rides. Chris' schedule allows for several days off in which he and Connor enjoy activities
such as playing at the park, walking along the Huntington Beach pier and there is always the lunch trips to "Mickey D's!"
Most important, however, is the thought of another child to raise and a little brother or sister for Connor to play with, share
toys with and teach to swing.
We feel we have a lot to offer a child and look forward to sharing more about our lives with you. Please feel free to call us

A Little About Jamie
Jamie was born and raised in Southern California by her two loving
parents. With two sisters and a brother Jamie learned the value of
family at an early age and still remains close to them all. Her
parents have been happily married for 30 years having set the
example for the entire family to follow. Jamie has a smile that can
brighten a room.
She is a very caring, honest and thoughtful
person with a true gift of nurturing children. Jamie enjoys gardening
and baking and has a passion for interior design. Most importantly,
however, Jamie is a wonderful mother. She is patient and kind and
full of love. She always has a smile on her face and gives her
heart and soul to Connor. Jamie would love nothing more than to
share her love with another child.
A Little About Chris
Chris was born in Northern California and was raised by his mother
(whom he loves, admires and respects very much) with lots of help
from Grandparents and baseball coaches. He was taught strong
ethical values and raised with the concept that if you work hard
you can accomplish anything.
It is that very attitude that has
provided him a career in the fire service and a promotion to the
position of Battalion Chief. Chris has recently completed his
masters Degree in Emergency Management which gives him more
time to spend with the family now that he isn't studying for exams.
Chris is kind, patient, gentle and funny and he loves being Daddy.
Chris looks forward to having a new arrival in the home and the
opportunity to raise, support and love another child.
A Little About Connor
Connor just turned 3 and is full of love. He wakes up happy every
morning excited to see the sun shining and ready to give big hugs.
He loves playing, reading and speaking new words. Connor loves
the idea of being a big brother and is very kind, gentle and happy
around babies.
Connor is excited to move into a new room so that
the baby can sleep in his crib and he is more than ready to show
the baby all his toys and books. Every day is a new adventure for
Connor as he grows before our eyes and we know he will make a
great big brother.
Our Home, Family & Holidays
We live in a wonderful neighborhood in Huntington Beach, California
and enjoy the benefits of a very family-oriented community. We
are less than one mile from the beach and have a park down the
street with swings, slides and kids playing every day.
Each year,
the neighborhood holds Halloween, Christmas, and Easter parties.
It is a fun and exciting place for the entire family. Grandparents,
aunts, uncles, and cousins are a big part of our lives and are
excited about a new addition to the family. Holidays are filled
with family and friends to help celebrate. Christmas Eve is a
tradition at our home filled with love, laughter and fun. Between
Chris' cooking and Jamie's baking, the kitchen is in full swing
days before the big event. We love the holiday season and look
forward to spending the next Christmas with a new addition.
