Hello! We admire your generous spirit, personal strength, and unconditional love in contemplating adoption. We have been married for the best seven years of our lives.
Now we are ready, committed and excited to become parents. Thank you so much for reading our letter and considering us.![]()
Ty on Cindy
How lucky we were when Cindy came into our lives! As she developed a close and loving relationship with Jason and Joshua, I learned that Cindy makes a special connection with all children because she's interested and involved in their lives.
With 23 nephews and nieces, she has a lot of experience! She's a gifted mom… born with instinctive love for our family. Cindy is so amazing with older children, I can't wait to watch her nurture, cuddle and share special moments with a new baby, who will receive the very best family-life a mother can create.
About Us
We're best friends and true partners. We
Cindy loves providing foster care to met at work fourteen years ago, and after
kittens & puppies for the Humane Society. five years our friendship blossomed into
romance.
We spend our free time with family and friends, outdoor activities, learning, movies, reading, and we love to travel.
Ty's two boys, Jason and Joshua from his first marriage, live with us halftime and are great guys who bring tremendous joy to our lives. Both are very excited about being older brothers. We believe that open adoption is an amazing and rewarding experience that benefits everyone involved, and we know that our child's life will be enriched by knowing you and the love you have for him or her.
Cindy on Ty
Ty is incredibly warm and caring. He is full of energy and ideas and is looking forward to having a little one again.
Ty’s love of sports is a gift he is anxious to share with his new child. He sees himself coaching his son or daughter’s teams and enjoying one-on-one time at sporting events while munching on popcorn and hotdogs. He believes both girls and boys benefit from sports and looks forward to sharing his passion with his child. Ty grew up playing sports and can’t wait
to teach his newest child. He's also great
at reading stories and snuggling up!
Ty's enthusiasm and excitement are contagious… he is passionate about life and family! He is a committed father who will always be there for his kids to support them, play with them and teach them. I am very excited to be parenting with Ty and could not imagine a better father.
Jason & Joshua
Seventeen-year old Jason loves bike riding and rock climbing. With a heart of gold, he is very much looking forward to spoiling a younger brother or sister.
A very talented artist at fifteen, Joshua loves painting and art projects and is always ready to try something new. Joshua is very excited about having a younger Joshua, Ty, and Jason taking a snooze. brother or sister and will make a
great older brother.
Fun Activities
We have many traditions. Our Halloween party is complete with costumes, bobbing for apples, games and good food.
At Christmas, we make gingerbread houses… a big production of several days with lots of fun. Cindy loves crafts, baking and gardening and wants to share her talents with her new child. One of her greatest pleasures is experiencing the delight of a child discovering something new.
Our family loves to go on trips. Some of our trips we’ve been on have been to the Grand Canyon, Washington D.C., Niagra Falls, New York City, Mexico and Alaska. We also like
Joshua & Jason with cousins in Tahoe. taking road trips to Southern California
and our summers would not be complete without our annual trip to Oregon to visit Cindy’s sister and her family. During the summer months, we love going to Clear Lake for boating and fun in the sun!
Pets
We have a black cat named Slash who loves to cuddle and have his tummy rubbed. With Cindy volunteering for the Humane Society, we often have kittens or puppies in the house. We love watching them grow and socializing them before they go to their new families.
We recently brought home our very own puppy to keep, Chester. He is fun-loving, energetic, sweet and cute! Cindy is very anxious to teach her new child about pets and the love they add to a home.
Family & Friends
We love spending time with family and friends and feel it's important to maintain friendships and family relationships. Ty's two brothers and mom live close by. Cindy is from a family of eight; five are in the area as well as Cindy's parents.
We have twenty three nieces and
Joshua and cousins nephews, some adopted, all of whom LeeAnne and Mary ready for we love dearly and make a priority
a hotdog ride at Clear Lake. to spend time with. We love to have
them overnight for swimming, watching movies, playing games--or just to relax, talk and laugh.
Our Home
We chose our house because it's a great family home and a fun place to raise kids. On 2 acres, it has a creek and walking bridge. Cindy can't wait to take our little one exploring the creek for frogs and tadpoles.
We can't wait for chubby little hands to pick our berry bushes and help Mom bake fresh berry pies. Ty wants to play baseball in our field and basketball on our court.
We have a fire pit in our backyard for big, roaring fires, watching the stars come out and roasting marshmallows on warm summer nights. It's almost as Ty teaching niece Rochelle
fun as camping! how to four-wheel.
